Bosses

THE HOUR

Deep boss: wave 95, 120, 145

What it does

Every second it lives, it and the whole horde move faster. Nothing ever slows back down.

The first half-minute is the cheapest it will ever be. Spend everything then — playing safe is what kills you here.

Numbers are for wave one; deeper down they get tougher.

Charges, then works in a frenzy and slams the ground.

Lays eggs and screams. Left alone, the arena fills up.

Screams to stun, teleports, and calls in support.

Burrows and comes up under you with a shockwave.

Carries a shield across its front that eats what you fire at it.

Bound to its thralls: while they live, it barely feels you.

Fights like a squad leader, and the squad is the horde.

Backs away and walks a fan of spores around you. Retreating loses.
